I’m Benjamin Faust. I’m an independent insurance agent, a musician, and a website developer. I also work with words, whether they’re being written, refined, or spoken.
The common thread is helping people make sense of something, solve a problem, or bring an idea to life.
My beginnings
In 1971, two people kissed. This caused abdominal swelling. Nine months later, I decided to introduce myself and see if I could help. I was able to significantly reduce the swelling, pain, and other serious side effects, and she eventually made a full recovery. She was so grateful that she started referring to me as her son.
Moral of the story? I’m a problem solver, and I’m on your side. Also, kissing can be dangerous.

As an independent insurance agent, I help people explore hospital indemnity and home health care coverage. I’ll listen to your concerns, explain benefits, costs, and limitations, and help you consider whether additional coverage makes sense for you. The decision stays yours.
Music, words, and a human voice
Music started with a small keyboard when I was around four. A couple of years later, my grandmother bought us a player piano. Watching it play itself was fascinating; learning to make my own music was even better. I taught myself to play and have since written dozens of songs and recorded many of them.
That interest in expression carries into writing, proofreading, and voice work. With a background in publishing and years of writing and voicing presentations, I care about the details that help a message sound clear and feel personal.

A technical partner behind the scenes
My introduction to programming involved a Texas Instruments computer and a cassette tape for saving code. I’ve been building websites and applications professionally since 2005 and freelancing since 2007.
Today, I help businesses, designers, and agencies with custom features, repairs, and the systems behind their websites. Some clients have worked with me for more than a decade. I enjoy figuring out how things work—and making them work better.
